Threadhopping: Usually no - I tag a lot from email, due to my medical conditions, and it is difficult for me to do so in threads that fork off.
Fourthwalling: You can fourth-wall Mary. I'm fine with characters recognising her as a historical figure.
Offensive subjects: As a player, nothing really bothers me other than extreme gore or tiny holes. I hate tiny holes. No pictures of sponges or barnacles please. /shudders
